With intensive workshop taught by Bruno Bozzetto in last Saturday ended this year's writing workshop for comics and animation that I conducted together with Luana Vergari for la Scuola di Editoria per il fumetto e la traduzione di Bologna . La giornata è stata condotta dal maestro nella mattinata con vivacità e senza reticenze circa la propria pluriennale esperienza professionale nel settore e intorno al lavoro di scrittura di una narrazione (che poi sia trasposta a fumetti o in animazione poco cambia), dall' ideazione del racconto , allo studio dei personaggi , dalla composizione della struttura narrativa ai suoi equilibri interni, dal concentrarsi sulle idee alla maturazione del proprio sguardo d'autore . Quest'ultimo elemento risulterà sempre più decisivo in an international context where the economic and technological means to reign, at least outwardly, on the stories and ideas.
Bozzetto in the afternoon has also involved students in a workshop in Flash animation highlighting the potential and the rudiments of the craft as a storyteller animated images for students and guidance in setting up a short animated sequence. The internship with
Bozzetto was a good conclusion for the course, as teachers we are satisfied with how things turned out, the final day increased the specific weight of the meetings we cared for the students last month.
