In base al D.L. n° 490/99, art. 99 ( Testo unico delle disposizioni legislative in materia di beni culturali e ambientali) il museo è una struttura organizzata per la conservazione, la valorizzazione e la fruizione pubblica di raccolte di beni culturali.
La corretta gestione e conservazione delle collezioni in esso contenuti costituisce un compito di primaria importanza e si ottiene attraverso il rispetto degli standard di funzionamento, ossia assicurandosi che le condizioni termoigrometriche, luminose e di qualità dell’aria degli ambienti in cui si trovano i manufatti stessi siano coerenti e idonee alla loro natura.
Visitando i locali dell’attuale museo civico ci si aspetterebbe di ritrovare tali condizioni, e invece no…
